Hi, I’m Kristin Thornberry.
I’m a Farrier serving Northwest Arkansas specializing in barefoot trimming and progressive innovative forms of hoof protection. Soundness and comfort doesn’t begin and end with the horses hooves. So I take a “whole horse” approach to hoofcare, analyzing diet, movement, footfall, and resting stance.

I have always been an animal lover but horses hold a special place in my heart and helping them is my passion!
I’m not sure what job title I should give myself. I no longer shoe with steel, so technically I’m not a farrier. I do provide progressive, innovative, hoof protection services, so technically I’m not just a barefoot trimmer either. Over the years I have become a self-titled Hoof Care Provider. Whatever my title may be, I am dedicated to helping clients horses build and maintain the best hooves they can possibly have through barefoot trimming and incorporating other products like boots, glue-on shoes, casting, and Formahoof, PEMF, and Surefoot Pads.
